Monster!

Fuku-Bonsai is recovering and expanding. Part of this means moving to a temporary office that's in the background of this photo. It shows my personal BT-2 Breeder Tank set up at the same eyelevel as my computer screen. From time to time I glance up to observe the Micro-Lobsters. Many of the photos in this website were taken of this tank including the series on algae control, pipipi, the "opae'ula eating the fly," etc.

But it scared the heck out of me to see the magnified monster! It was a common Hawaiian gecko that somehow was checking out the Micro-Lobsters between the tank and the old-style white panel background! I got off two photos before it ran away and this was the better one.
